Everyday servicing and repairs
Car Servicing
A regular service keeps your car reliable and helps it hold its value. We service to your manufacturer's schedule — oil and filters, fluids, brakes, tyres, lights and suspension checked — and stamp your service book or update the digital record. Not sure which service is due? Give us your reg and we'll tell you.
Diagnostics
A warning light on the dash doesn't always mean a big bill. We connect diagnostic equipment, read the fault codes and then check the cause by hand — so you pay to fix the fault, not to swap parts until the light goes out.
Brakes
Squealing, grinding, a spongy pedal or the car pulling when you brake? We inspect pads, discs, calipers and brake fluid and replace only what's worn. We'll show you the old parts if you want to see them.
General Repair
Suspension knocks, exhaust blows, leaks, lights, steering — the everyday faults that keep a car off the road. Tell us the symptom; we'll find the cause and quote before we start.
Batteries
Slow to start on cold mornings? We test the battery and the charging system, so you don't buy a new battery when the alternator is the real problem.

Engine and drivetrain
Cambelt Replacement
If a cambelt snaps, it can wreck the engine. We check your replacement interval, replace the belt and, where recommended, the water pump and tensioners at the same time, so you don't pay for the same labour twice.
Wet Belt Replacement
Some engines — including Ford 1.0 EcoBoost and 1.2 PureTech — have a timing belt that runs in engine oil. These belts can break down, shed material into the oil and starve the engine. We inspect the belt, replace it with the correct parts and flush the oil system.
Clutches
Revs climbing but the car not speeding up, a juddering pull-away, a heavy pedal or a burning smell — all signs of a worn clutch. We replace the clutch and, where needed, the flywheel, and tell you the price first.
Gearbox Service
Gearboxes need fresh oil to shift smoothly and last. A gearbox service costs far less than a gearbox repair. We change the oil and filters to the manufacturer's spec and check for leaks.
Specialist diesel and performance
DPF Cleaning
Short trips stop a diesel particulate filter from cleaning itself: warning light, limp mode, poor power. We find why it blocked, clean it and fix the cause. We clean and repair DPFs — we don't remove them.
AdBlue Solutions
We find the faulty part — pump, heater, level sensor, injector, NOx sensor or wiring — and repair the system properly, so your car stays legal and keeps passing its MOT.
ECU Re-Mapping
A remap adjusts the engine's software for more power or better economy. Before we remap, we run a health check. Remember to tell your insurer about the change.
Comfort, tyres and warranty
Air Conditioning
If your air con blows warm or smells musty, it's usually low on gas or has a leak. We test the system, check for leaks and re-gas it.
Wheel Alignment
Car pulling to one side or tyres wearing on one edge? Correct alignment saves your tyres and makes the car safer to drive.
Warranty Work
You can have your car serviced with us without losing the manufacturer's warranty, as long as the work follows the service schedule and uses parts of matching quality.

For short jobs like batteries, often yes. For longer work we'll agree a drop-off and collection time.
Do you use genuine parts?
We fit parts that meet the manufacturer's specification. If you prefer genuine parts, ask and we'll quote for them.
